ToothBrush Hygiene Helper
Does the picture above remind you of your toothbrush holder? It sure looks like mine, except add bigger toothbrushes including a musical toddler brush! Did you ever wonder what germs were getting on your toothbrush? I sure did. I dry my hair in front of the mirror so I constantly have to clean the sink AND the toothbrushes of my flying hair! Yeah I know that's a little gross but I'm being honest and at least I do clean it! That's why when I saw this product I knew it would be perfect for my house! At least my husband would love it!

So what is the solution? Create a nice storage container with a lid! How simple, and how easy. The product is described as:
Toothbrush Hygiene Helper is a storage container with a top cover, and strategically positioned slots that provide adequate air circulation to help toothbrushes dry well and maintain freshness. This prevents any build-up of mildew that could occur from water retention in an enclosed space. TBH’s center section comfortably holds up to 4 toothbrushes, with a removable spindle for easy cleaning. Compact and stable, TBH can stand upright on a bathroom sink counter or shelf or be wall-mounted. TBH uses FDA-approved and sturdy plastic materials, and is dishwasher safe.
The verdict: At first my husband was shocked at the "thing" I was putting the toothbrushes in. I picked a nice clear color because I knew it would go with any bathroom. He thought it took up too much space. However, that could easily be solved. The TBH comes with a wall mount system for $5.95. (We didn't use the wall mount because we are renting and I didn't want to put more holes in the wall). I loved it! It did take me a little while to remember that I couldn't just reach for my toothbrush, instead I had to take off the lid. No problem, just takes a little time to get used to. So far we have been using the TBH for about 3 or 4 weeks and it works great. I just take out the insert whenever I need to clean it, which is rare because the way your toothbrush dries prevents gunk from getting in the bottom. LOVE IT! I hate cleaning out toothbrush cups!

- it helps your family be more efficient
- different size holes for multiple sized toothbrushes
- prevents mildew
- takes a while to get used to taking off a lid
- holes are a little small. I like that there are different size holes but toothbrushes are continuing to get wider instead of smaller. I had to use all the big size holes just to fit my husband and my toothbrush. My daughter's toddler musical toothbrush won't even fit which makes her sad.
- maybe a little bulky (can be resolved if you want to use the wall mount, however the mount has to be purchased separately)
